From Akune City, Kagoshima, to the tables of Yakumi, Akune Gold A5 Wagyu makes its Philippine debut this September.
This coming September 26 and 27, Yakumi at Solaire Resort Entertainment City presents a two-day showcase celebrating the craft, heritage, and flavor of this exceptional Japanese Wagyu. Solaire is the first integrated resort in the Philippines to import and serve Akune Gold A5 Wagyu.
On September 26, guests can witness a live butchery demonstration by Japanese master butcher Mr. Hideki Tanaka, followed by a seven-course Wagyu dinner prepared by Yakumi’s culinary team.
The dinner highlights four specially selected cuts, with dishes including Chuck Short Rib Chawanmushi with Truffle Dashi, Roasted Brisket with Shiso Radish Ponzu, and Short Rib and Plate Sukiyaki—showcasing the rich marbling, tenderness, and deep umami of Akune Gold A5 Wagyu.
On September 27, the experience continues with Yakumi’s signature brunch and Meat Heaven, featuring Akune Gold A5 Wagyu and foie gras alongside the restaurant’s live stations. The brunch offers an experience centered on premium ingredients and Japanese-inspired flavors.
Produced in Kagoshima and exported by Starzen, Akune Gold A5 Wagyu reflects the meticulous standards of Japanese Wagyu production. The two-day showcase offers diners a rare opportunity to experience this prized beef from whole cut to table.
