As we welcome 2019, we look forward to the exciting events that will occur in the upcoming year. This includes live performances by international artists. As the Manila Concert Scene continues to grow, a new list of promising acts are set to perform this 2019. Here are some of the acts we know who will take stage this coming year:
Blackpink
As announced, Korean girl group Blackpink will be coming to the Philippines for a chance to perform their hit songs “DDU-DU DDU-DU”, “Boombayah” and many more. Performing live on February 2, 2019 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Blackpink is set to take the stage and capture the hearts of Filipinos with their catchy songs and dance moves.
Maroon 5
American pop band Maroon 5 will be performing for the fifth time this coming 2019 as part of their tour to promote their sixth studio album, “Red Pill Blues”. Known for their songs “Girls Like You”, “Payphone”, “Sugar”, and so much more, Maroon 5 will be back to capture the hearts of many Filipinos. The band will be singing for the Philippines on March 5, 2019 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Rita Ora
British singer-songwriter Rita Ora is set to perform in the Philippines on March 10, 2019 at the New Frontier Theater (formerly known as Kia Theater). This will be her first show in the Philippines and will be promoting her upcoming album Phoenix which will be released on November 23, 2018. Some of her hit songs are “Black Widow”, “Girls”, and “Body on Me” — which we all are excited to hear live this coming 2019.
Jason Mraz
Returning to the Philippines for the third time, Jason Mraz will be singing for Manila on May 8, 2019 as part of his Good Vibes tour. He will be performing some of his hit songs “I’m Yours” “I Won’t Give Up” and many more at the Mall of Asia Arena.
LANY
American indie-pop band LANY will be coming back to the Philippines to serenade us with their hit songs “ILYSB”, “Malibu Nights”, and many more this 2019. This will be the band’s fourth performance after two sold out shows this year. LANY will take the stage on July 24, 2019 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
