Where are the Careless Music Manila fans at? Good news, the wait is finally over for all James Reid die-hards out there! After producing raved-about songs for the label, mainly “Summer” (sang with Nadine Lustre) and “Soju” (Curtismith’s debut single for the “Dining Table” EP), James is strutting the vocals once again with a new sound to obsess over.
He recently dropped his newest track called “Risky,” which was produced and composed by Avin, a well-known Korean DJ. KINGwAw (aka Bret Jackson) also performed on the track and wrote the lyrics together with James. The song’s music video, where the three male collaborating artists were shown, was also filmed in Seoul.
Fellow CMM artist Nadine also came along to their Korea trip, which can mean there is a possibility that they also shot several videos there for their upcoming songs. Last May, James revealed they were working on the record’s sophomore mixtape which will consist of 20 or more tracks. The artist said it was “almost finished.”
“Risky” is the first collaboration digital single of the Careless Mixtape Manila. If you haven’t checked the music video out, go ahead! With its play of colors and lights, camera angles and, of course, James Reid, “Risky” is definitely a visual feast!
