These days, reputable hotels usually choose to highlight their luxurious interiors in order to attract potential patrons. Although it seems perfectly natural for hotels to present their guests the most appealing picture of luxury they can offer (as they should), the fact remains that there are more things to consider in providing a memorable hotel experience.
However, once in a while, there comes a new player in the local hospitality scene who seems determined to set the standard for the rest. More often than not, hotels like these are run by seasoned veterans who have been in the industry for more than half a century. And usually, they carry impressive resumes that include properties located in the world’s most developed cities. Particularly, the new Hilton Manila seems to be determined to prove that it is one of those notable hotels.

Opened just last October 24, 2018, Hilton’s flagship hotel in the Philippines — Hilton Manila, is poised to provide Filipinos with the exceptional hotel experience that the multi-awarded company is known for. Throughout the years, Hilton has always been particular about staying true to its mission, which is “to be the world’s most hospitable company by delivering exceptional experiences – every hotel, every guest, every time”. For them, hospitality is all about being able to provide the best amenities and services, not just for tourists and staycationers, but also for business travellers and locals that require suitable venues for a variety of special occasions.
Located inside the premiere entertainment hub, Resorts World Manila, Hilton Manila allows its guests easy access to the capital’s major business and entertainment centers. The hotel features 357 elegantly furnished rooms, each equipped with a “Serenity Bed” and four-point bathroom that includes vanity area, bath tub, and rain shower. As a special offer, Hilton Honors members will be able to access their rooms with their smartphones and other similar devices through Digital Key “direct-to-room” technology.

Hilton Manila’s guests will be sure to find many ways to occupy themselves, thanks to the hotel’s wide selection of amenities, namely, a 24-hour fitness center, a resort-style lagoon pool, three restaurants, and two bars, among others. The hotel also houses six different venues that can be used both for business and family-centered occasions, including a 545 square-meter ballroom that can accommodate 600 people.

Paul Hutton, Hilton’s Vice President for Operations in South East Asia, believes that the arrival of Hilton in Manila was perfectly timed, given that the Philippines has been enjoying a rise in foreign visitors since the start of 2018.
According to Hutton, the company is looking forward to “enhancing the guest experience and playing an integral role in defining the hospitality landscape in the Philippines.”
Evidently, Hilton Manila is out to show that it’s not just another fancy hotel to add to Manila’s growing roster of premium accommodations from the West. We’re looking forward to seeing what the company has in store for us in the future.
