For the Greater Good: Commonwealth Opens its Biggest Flagship Store Yet

Authenticity, craft, quality, and style are what drives lifestyle brand Commonwealth in catering their products to people. Established in 2014 in Washington DC, Commonwealth grounded itself as a brand that curated lifestyle apparel and footwear. In 2015, Commonwealth was brought in Manila, Philippines with the same goal as it extended its products to the Filipinos.

Last October 20, 2018, Commonwealth made its way to the community of Makati as it opened its biggest store yet at the Powerplant Mall, Rockwell Center.

The store offers various brands such as Converse, ASICS, Vans, Nike, Adidas, and New Balance. With the success of Commonwealth in Manila, brands like Adidas are now motivated to bring certain products to the country because of the great market potential that Commonwealth helped build.

“Commonwealth has always been active participants to what is considered a vibrant subculture…our contributions are considered authentic in the creative community. We have become the standard that others try to measure up to. We consider ourselves originators, not imitators.” Commonwealth founder Omar Quiambao explained.

The latest flagship store also features different brands such as: Stone Island, Human Made, APC, Nanamica, Stussy, Carhartt WIP, Polythene Optics, Cav Empt, Neighborhood, Maharishi, Aries, Wacko Maria, Saturdays NYC, DIME, and Brain Dead.

With the opening of the latest and biggest flagship store, Commonwealth is up for bigger things.
