Celebrity couple Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia officially became husband and wife last April 20, 2018, at the Balesin Island Club. They exchanged vows in front a host of A-list stars who attended the event, including Crawford’s Showtime co-hosts Vice Ganda, Amy Perez, Vhong Navarro, Jugs Jugueta, and Karylle Padilla. Also in attendance were director Gino M. Santos, singers Jay-R and Kris Lawrence, Tim Yap, and former Showtime host Kuya Kim Atienza and his wife Felicia, among many others. Dr. Vicky Belo also brought along her insta-famous daughter Scarlet Snow Belo who was one of Garcia’s flower girls.
Prior to the ceremony, news about the wedding wasn’t as publicized as other celebrity weddings in the country. Only the guests and a couple of news outlets knew exactly when and where the the wedding would take place before the big day. Some see this secrecy as a response to the online backlash the couple received due to their pre-wedding photoshoots earlier this year, which was held in Ethiopia. Fortunately, the controversy did not linger on to the big day and fans posted congratulatory messages and well wishes on social media.
