Last Wednesday, Filipina contestant Jach Manere ended her Asia’s Next Top Model journey as she was eliminated because of her weak performance for this week.

During this week’s AsNTM episode, Jach shared how she felt tired and pressured from the competition which reflected in her performance which led judges to let her go.

While Jach shared her gratitude to the judges as well as her mentors and co-contestants through her Instagram account, many of her supporters were unhappy with her sudden elimination.

Fans believed that it was an unfair decision since Jach showed consistency and commitment throughout the competition over the past weeks. Jach was also one of the contestants with leading overall rankings. So it was truly a shock to Jach walk away from the competition just because of one weak photo.

Her boyfriend, Scott Rais, even shared his sentiments through Instagram saying:

Though her supporters and loved ones are disheartened from her elimination, Jach remains positive and optimistic for her future and career.

Unbiased or not, it is undeniable that Jach is a strong model and does not necessarily need AsNTM to prove her talent. Jach serves as an inspiration to many Filipinos that it is always the willingness to learn and a hint of passion that would lead us to reach our goals in life. As Jach tells her fans through her Instagram statement: “Now watch me take over the real world”, she inspires us that no matter how many times we fall down, we should rise again and never give up on our dreams.
