Guilty as charged: We all have our inner “snacky” Jake Peralta ruling over our diets. The worst part is, we often listen to that part of ourselves and give into different kinds of cravings on the daily. If you’re the type who simply can’t give up munching on all sorts of chips, Nic’s experimented with our comfort food and tried to make it healthier.
Their Parmesan Wheat Crisps are a low-calorie snack in ginormous tortilla cuts. It has a short list of ingredients including whole wheat flour (which also makes it fiber-rich), with only salt and parmesan as its flavor enhancers. It has a simple savory taste that will complement any kind of dip, may it be cheese, ranch, or salsa—but it’s also addictively good on its own (and as a dine-in restaurant appetizer). Each piece is big enough to hold a mountain of toppings, too. So we’re looking into making it a substitute to the gool ol’ nacho chips this summer.
It’s not like your usual bites that are loaded with sodium, but before you even decide if it’s either on the tasty or bland side of things, you’ll be surprised you’ve already finished a whole tub.
