New Year, new you. But unlike the cliche we tend to say at the start of the year, we actually mean there’s a new show we absolutely loved on Netflix (an obsession that’s obviously been carried over in the new year)—and that’s the romantic thriller “You.”

Get to know more about the show and its stars when Penn Badgley and Shay Mitchell (who plays Peach Salinger on the series) goes on a Manila pit stop for their “You” tour. Filipino fans can experience a version of Mooney’s bookstore, win swag, and get a chance to see Penn and Shay at The Greenbelt Gallery next Tuesday, Jan. 15.

In the series adaptation of Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel, Penn is playing yet another New Yorker, the last of the nice guy kind (or so it seems). Quite bashful but charming nonetheless, Joe Goldberg manages a small bookstore called Mooney’s, where he meets “the one.”

Sure, he’s the intellectual type that’s easy to fall for—after all, who doesn’t like boys who read books of all sorts and can sustain a conversation with witty banter, right? But Penn plays no Dan Humphrey here, he’s easily driven by jealousy and is willing to do anything—and we mean anything—to keep his relationship the way he wants it.
