Home Mavericks Unveils Bernhardt’s Latest Collections Through a Seamless Fusion of Furniture and Fashion

Home Mavericks Inc., the exclusive Philippine distributor of American luxury furniture brand Bernhardt, recently hosted an exclusive preview of the brand’s three newest furniture collections—Tempo, Monolith, and Antibes—at SoFA Design Institute, Proscenium, Rockwell. While each collection embodies its own distinct design language, they share a common purpose: to inspire beautiful living through timeless craftsmanship and thoughtful design.

The exclusive event gathered interior designers, architects, creatives, tastemakers, media personalities, and design enthusiasts for an immersive evening celebrating the intersection of furniture, fashion, and art.

In collaboration with SoFA Design Institute, Bernhardt presented its newest collections through a fresh creative lens. Fashion design students interpreted selected furniture pieces into original couture-inspired garments, translating the collections’ forms, materials, textures, and design philosophies into wearable works of art.

“The heart of our brand has always been rooted in great design,” said Elisha Mendoza, Vice President of Home Mavericks Inc. “We’ve always believed in the universality of design—its ability to transcend disciplines and influence every aspect of how we live. This collaboration beautifully demonstrates how furniture can inspire creativity far beyond the home.”

Echoing this philosophy, Margarita Sanchez, Academic Chair for Fashion at SoFA Design Institute, reiterated the brand’s belief that great design is not merely seen—it is felt.

Guests enjoyed an evening of live music, gourmet bites, interactive experiences, and an exclusive first look at Bernhardt’s newest collections alongside their striking fashion interpretations.

Tempo Collection

Refined and architectural, the Tempo collection explores proportion, rhythm, and dimension through clean lines and sophisticated detailing. Bands of textured metal provide a subtle contrast against warm grey finishes, introducing structure and understated brilliance. Vertical paneling creates a captivating interplay of light and shadow, while its palette of soft neutrals lends a relaxed yet elevated expression of casual modern luxury.

Monolith Collection

Bold yet restrained, the Monolith collection embraces a rustic-modern aesthetic with softened silhouettes, asymmetrical forms, and organic textures. Natural stone surfaces contrast beautifully with warm wood finishes, highlighting the richness of the grain, while burnished cast aluminum introduces the gentle sheen of an aged patina. The result is a collection that feels both contemporary and ageless—an exploration of the elemental relationship between material, texture, and form.

Antibes Collection

Inspired by the picturesque French Riviera town of Antibes, the Antibes collection celebrates effortless, tranquil living through sculptural forms and organic simplicity. Balancing wood with stone, curves with clean lines, and textured finishes with smooth surfaces, each piece showcases distinctive architectural details including graceful arches, flowing silhouettes, carved details, and chiseled textures. The collection evokes a tranquil elegance designed for modern living.

Adding to the excitement of the evening, Home Mavericks also announced the upcoming soft opening of its newly expanded ground floor showroom in Pioneer, Pasig City. To celebrate the ground floor expansion, the showroom will launch a Soft Opening Sale beginning July 12, offering guests the perfect opportunity to discover Bernhardt’s newest collections and timeless pieces for every living space.
