You know a movie’s epic when it stays in the cinemas for more than a month, fiercely competing with new releases and still emerging victorious when it comes to ticket sales week after week. The era-culminating “Avengers: Endgame” is a perfect example.

Now the Russo brothers have already made movie fans sit through three full hours of glorious film time, but it seems like Marvel has plans to make them stay longer. Producer Kevin Feige said if people “stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises.”

The extended feature of the film, which comes with additional scenes and its tradition of post-credit snippets, is set to roll out in the US by the next weekend. Hopefully, the reel makes its way to the Philippines, too.

Before we get all hyped up for “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” this rerun is a much-needed callback to the theaters. After all, we’re all just a friendly neighborhood Marvel fan in need to process grief—a cathartic experience that we’re hoping to gain from the July blockbuster.
